  • Researches

    • - More than 130 researches on public contract system, procurement policies and construction contracts.
    • - Over 30 researches on global or foreign procurement environments, e-Procurement and associated systems.
    • - Over 20 researches on national defense procurement.
    • - In total about 180 researches for 10 years since establishment such as reforming procurement system for nuclear power plant, etc.

  • Scope

    • - Appointed as a professional research center by Defense Acquisition Program Administration. (Feb 21st 2014, No. 2014-1)
    • - Research scope expanded consistently with 14 researches for the PPS and 22 for other administrative organizations in 2015.
    • - Main public clients : Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Transport, Cultural Heritage Administration, Korea Hydro Power Co., Uljin Nuclear Power Division, KOTRA, KOICA, KEPCO, KORAIL, etc.

  • Academic Activities

    • - Participated in task force and consultative committee for government procurement related organizations.
    • - Held Once a half year (spring / autumn ) purchasing and procurement conference with the procurement scholars society, KAPSM.
    • - Conducted a National Finance and Procurement policy Forum in National Assembly. (2013~)
    • - Ran non-scheduled briefing sessions, public hearing, seminars and more.
    • - Participated international public procurement conferences and forums. (IPPW, MMGP and LPP)

  • Administrative supports

    • - Provides cost verification services on selected outstanding products for the PPS.
    • - Provides maintenance services on national business category database and on inquiry and search system of contract regulations and provisions.
    • - Provides standardization services on MAS products and verification services on self-produced products.
    • - Provides catalogue and listing services on public procurement products (2007~) and environment-friendly products. (2010~)
    • - Provides agent service for finger-print registration for participation of public bidding. (2010~)
    • - Provides specialized training in innovative public procurement and supports innovative enterprises with consulting services.

  • Additional services

    • - Offers consulting services to SMEs for entry into public procurement market and help them to acquire certifications of technology such as NEP, NET, Performance Authentication, K-symbol, etc.
    • - Issued a periodical publication of National and Global Procurement Policy Trend Journal. (2006~08)
    • - Published a code of governmental regulations of business category basis for qualification for public bidding. (2008~09)
    • - Published a guidebook for A to Z of public construction contract. (2012~)

  • Agreements

    • - Signed MOU and made a commitment of mutual support with Small and Medium Business Corporation for supporting overseas expansion including public procurement market.
    • - Signed MOU and made a commitment of mutual support with K-BIZ (Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business), Inno-Biz Association of Korea and Korea National Industrial Convergence Center under KITEC.
    • - Signed MOU and made a commitment of mutual support with public and governmental procurement research centers and institutes of various countries such as Russia, China, etc.
    • - Signed MOU with Gyeongbuk, Jeonbuk TechnoPark to establish a collaborative framework for Public Procurement for Innovative coorporations and defense industries.
